Carol J (White)Milne

milne-c-2

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we announce that Carol J (White)Milne on Saturday (October 5, 2024) went home to be with her Lord in heaven.

Carol was the daughter of Fern and John Hau, born Sept 25, 1936, in Streator. She graduated Streator High School in 1954 and married Ronald F. White Sr. in 1955. They had 4 children, Cheryl, Lynette, Ronald F (Jr) and Mary Beth.

Carol loved riding horses in her younger years. She was an animal lover and a lover of the outdoors. She spent countless hours tending her gardens and flowers. She loved to play cards and read the Bible. Carol was a lover of her God. A woman of faith and believer in miracles. She devoted many years to hospice work. Two of her favorite saying were “Praise the Lord!” and “believe in miracles”.

Carol loved to make others happy, to make them smile to make them laugh and to have fun doing it, so she became “Karrol the Clown”. It was her passion and joy to see others have fun and be happy. She was a Christian clown, so it was her way of spreading God’s word along with a little fun and many smiles. Her enthusiasm and joy were contagious. “Karrol the Clown” became very well known in the area. Her legacy of love, joy and happiness will live on. Carol was a loving and wonderful mother, grandmother, sister and friend. And a very happy clown.

She is survived by 3 daughters, Cheryl (Louie) Hillier of Fort Myers, FL, Lynette M. White of Streator, Mary Beth Sullivan of Porum, OK., a sister Elsa (Hau) Krumscheid, and a brother John (Dorothy) Hau, 8 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Ronald F. (Debbie) White Jr. her mother Fern Hau, and her husband William Milne of Streator.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday (Oct. 19th) at 11:00 a.m. at the Assembly of God Church in South Streator where Carol attended for many years.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Vitas Healthcare, 1040 Fourth St., Peru IL 61354
