MENDOTA – There will be a visit from the 16th President of the United States tonight at the library in Mendota. Abraham Lincoln, From Obscurity to Greatness will be presented at 6:30 PM at the Graves-Hume Public Library. No library card is required to attend the event, but reservations are recommended. Performer Kevin Wood will be discussing the Illinois years of the president, when both he and the state were transformed and growing.
