OTTAWA – A new volunteer program with OSF Healthcare is making it possible for teens to work in the hospital setting. Teens who are currently in 8th grade through senior year can work closely with patients at OSF St. Elizabeth’s in Ottawa. Volunteers must commit to at least 30 hours a year. Hours for volunteering are between 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 2:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. on Saturdays. Orientation begins on June 11th at 9 a.m. An application must be completed before attending orientation.
